Snapchat starts testing its app in Five Indian languages


Snapchat had created its 1st product push for the india market in Nov last year, by launching a localized version of its content discovery platform Discover
Snapchat has released a new beta version of its iPhone app with support for eight new languages, 5 of that are Indian languages.
The new languages being tested are Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Malay, Marathi, Gujarati, Vietnamese, and Filipino.
"This is our 1st Beta containing eight new languages! If you are fluent in any languages listed below, strive ever-changing your device language to envision them out," the corporate aforesaid in its app description. it isn't clear on when the corporate will officially roll out these languages on its mobile apps.

This came when the passing messaging app had appointed the former head of Twitter news for india, Raheel Khursheed, as country skilled in October last year.
In February, Snapchat claimed that it had 186 million daily users for the quarter ended day, 2018, ending a streak of 2 consecutive quarters of declining users
